Magnetic Boards

Magna-Tiles are fun to play with on magnetic surfaces. They magically “stick” and “hang on”!

Here is a homemade magnetic board that was made at the Natural Learning Community Children’s School. Construct your own with a piece of sheet metal and a custom frame!

The Bay Area Discovery Museum in Sausalito, California has Magna-Tiles on their board… what a fun place to play and learn!

Challenge your Children to find other magnetic surfaces around the home or classroom! Hint: Try the refrigerator, furniture (railing on the stairway, handle bar on a door, feet of a table), paper clips, key chains, and other magnets!

The secret to Magna-Tiles is they always attract! MAGNA-TILES CONNECT: See how Magna-Tects explore magnetism through PLAY!
